That is so funny--we are making it right now for dinner! I buy the 1lb package of fresh asparagus for the 3 of us, cut the stalks into thirds. Marinade them in a ziploc for about 30 minutes: 1/2 cup red wine, your choice 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1/4 cup olive oil dash of salt & pepper To cook--saute 2 tablespoons butter, then add the asparagus. Saute on medium low for about 15 minutes, or to taste. We like them more crunchy than soggy. ENJOY! Hope you like it!
