Unresolved Question
I am looking for the best place to go shopping for stylish clothes where I don't have to pay a fortune. Can anyone suggest some stores that may be nationwide chains?

thrift stores are my favorite but you have to have a pretty well defined style to go that route, also buffalo exchange, funky monkey, rainbow, sometimes rave but the quality is low often,Beals is a new favorite.

Resale and consignment shops are wonderful for this. A lot of consignment shops have strict policies about what they accept as merchandise, so you can find name and designer brands for very little money. I found brand new, leather loafers by Cole Haan for $20 once, and they retail for $150.

Oh man... I shop at Target, Walmart, Ross. There's also individual shops that are super affordable right now. Frou Frou in Redondo Beach is one. Theres Irene's Closet in Del Amo Mall. I rarely buy clothing that isn't on sale.

This is easy! So you live under a rock! There are so many places these days that you can find a good deal. Kohls is a great place to go shopping for good deals and name brands. But what is you idea of a fortune? I know to some that can be 20 bucks, and to me that is just being cheap! LOL
