Are you okay with your kid being taught by a homosexual teacher?

Absolutely, just because they like to be involved in relationships with people of the same gender has nothing to do with their teaching ability or weather or not they are a good person.

yea its not like they are any different from straight people they just like the same sex. Its not any different i used to have a gay teacher

i would be fine with it. all that matters is if he/she is a wonderful teacher.

it shouldnt matter unless there like hitting on them and it really wouldnt matter if they were gay or not its still sick.

As long as the kids are learning and the teacher's personal life is kept personal, I don't care what kind of person he is at home!

I have 2 answers:

1. If the teacher is pushing their beliefs or even discussing sexual preference in the classroom, then no-that teacher needs to go!

2. If the teacher is simply educating the students, as is their job, then yes! Teachers all believe many things differently than you do. The point of a teacher is to educate the students scholastically, not morally.

Most of all, your children/my children are going to be subjected to many different moral, religious, ethical, and overall beliefs that us. We, as parents, have to be there to answer their questions, tell them our beliefs, and then help them make the best educated decisions for themselves!!
